Complications are a nightmare for both patients and physicians. In all large Urology Departments, every month there is the so-called “Morbidity & Mortality Meeting”, i.e. the Physicians’ Meeting where they present and discuss all complications of the month and how they have handled them. These meetings are considered to be highly educational, for  very useful conclusions can be drawn out of them about how to treat similar complications in the future and avoid potential mistakes.
