Short CV: 

He was born in May 1969 in Athens, where he completed his undergraduate studies. In 1988 he enrolled in the Medical School of the University of Athens, and graduated in June 1994. His national military service (1995-1996) was followed by his rural service (Regional Remote Medical Surgery of Pyrgos, on the island of Samos) (1996-1998). After a year of General Surgery tranining (Sismanogleio Hospital 1998-1999), he started his residency in Urology at the 1st University Urology Clinic (1999-2003). In March 2004 he was awarded his PhD title by the Medical School of the University of Athens. During his post-graduate training, he was employed as a Registrar (Facharzt) at the University Clinic of Freiburg, Germany (2003-2004). Since October 2004 he has been an employed scientific associate of the 1st University Urology Clinic; in December 2007 he was elected as a Lecturer in the Medical School of the University of Athens.
