Short CV: 

He studied Medicine at the University of Milan. He completed his Urology residency at the Clinic of Urinary Organs of AUTh. In 1985 he wrote his PhD at AUTh and in 1986 he was elected as a lecturer at the same university. In 2006, having ascended the full academy hierarchy, he was elected as a Professor of Urology. He received post-graduate training in Urodynamics and Neurourology at various centres in Italy, as well as at Stanford University and the Spinal Cord Injury Center at Palo Alto, in Endoscopic Urology Surgery at UCLA and in Paediatric and Reparative Urology at Guy’s Hospital in London. He organized and has been running the Urodynamic and Neurourology Laboratory of the Clinic of Urinary Organs at AUTh for more than 15 years. Since 2008 he has been the Director of the 2nd Urology Clinic of AUTh. He has written 3 textbooks on Neurourology, Female Urology and Urinary Pharmacology and has authored numerous papers published in Greek and International publications. As of 2005 he has chaired a three-member Examination Committee that awards the medical specialty of Urology, seated in Thessaloniki.
