Short CV: 

He graduated from the Medical School of the University of Athens in 1989. He received his Urology specialty title and FEBU title in 1999. He specialized in Endourology (Fellowship) at the University Hospital of Radboud, in Nijmegen, the Netherlands. In 2005, he was awarded his Doctor’s Degree by the University of Athens and in 2007 he received his PhD from the University of Amsterdam. He is a member (and Vice President since 2011) of the Working Group on the preparation of the “EAU Guidelines on Male LUTS”. He has also participated in working groups such as the Editorial Board at Large of European Urology, European Urology Supplements and the Editorial Board of Journal of Endourology (where he serves as Section Editor on New Technologies). He is a founding member of the Board of the Clinical Research Office of Endourological Society (CROES), where he represents Europe, and he is a member of the Board of Directors of the Endourology Association. He is a regular reviewer for the following scientific journals: European Urology, Journal of Urology, Urology, British Journal of Urology International, Journal of Endourology, Current Urology, Clinical Drug Investigation and Hellenic Urology (Elliniki Ourologia). He has authored 55 international publications (PubMed) and participated in 8 international textbooks. S. Gravas is an Assistant Professor of Urology at the University of Thessaly.
