Short CV: 

She graduated from the Medical School of the University of Thrace in 2005. She completed her postgraduate study programme in Medical Informatics at AUTh (1006-08). She specialised at ‘Agios Dimitrios’ Hospital Cardiology Department in Thessaloniki, while she was also working as a researcher at the Medical IT Lab of AUTh, where she prepared her Doctorate thesis on “Simulation techniques/virtual patient scenarios for use in medical training and evaluation in the cardiology sector”. She was on a PhD candidate’s excellence scholarship from the Research Committee for the academic year 2011-2012. She has participated in three research programmes, two European ones and a National one. Her main research interests are in the fields of Medical IT and Medical Training, with 13 publications in international journals and conference minutes, 10 of which are in Greek journals and conferences; she has participated as a reviewer for international conferences and a speaker at a number of day-meetings and seminars.
