On February 13th 1999, a Press Conference was held to announce the foundation of the Sexual and Reproductive Health Society (SRHS/ ΚΕ.Σ.Α.Υ.) of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. It was the first time in Greece that a public body had ever provided services in the sector of Sexual Health. In fact, SRHS has so far been the Hellenic National Member of a European network, the European Sexual Health Alliance (ESHA), which is a non-profit umbrella organization providing support to people with sexual problems.
