Evi Kyrana received her Degree in Psychology from Panteion University (1998) and immediately continued with her postgraduate studies in Health Psychology (MSc) at the University of Bristol in the United Kingdom. She then attended and completed the postgraduate programme of the European Society for Sexual Medicine (ESSM), and the two-year postgraduate programme in psychosexual dysfunction treatment of the University Mental Health Research Institute (EPIPSY) of the University of Athens. She is currently a PhD candidate at the University of Athens. For the last 8 years she has worked as a scientific consultant to the Centre for Sexual and Reproductive Health (KESAY). During this period she has participated in holding 14 clinical workshops. Her research work includes 10 international and 5 Greek publications. She is a member of the Educational Committee of the European Society for Sexual Medicine (ESSM) and in this capacity she has participated in planning and implementing educational activities of the European Society. Her clinical work focuses on issues of human sexuality, sexual dysfunction and inter-gender relations.
